Computational Hydraulics and Transport LLC (CHT) is a small Federal HUBZONE engineering consulting
and numerical modeling company located in Edwards, Mississippi. In 2005, CHT was awarded a GSA Professional Engineering Services Contract (GS23F0239R), and was selected for an IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) Contract with the Hydraulics Branch of the US Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District.
CHT specializes in developing and applying numerical models to solve real world
environmental problems. CHT Partners and Associates possess many years of experience in developing
and/or applying one-dimensional (1D), two-dimensional (2D) (laterally-averaged and
vertically-averaged), and three-dimensional (3D) free surface hydrodynamic, water quality, and
sediment transport numerical models in coastal areas, estuaries, rivers, and lakes.
In addition, company employees have many years of experience in developing and applying
numerical models to predict the fate of dredged material both at the disposal site, as
well as at the dredging site.
Other capabilities include numerical modeling of watershed
runoff and stream flows using models developed at the Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC),
as well as storm surge modeling along the nation’s coasts.
