TEAMING

CHT personnel are all retired employees from the US Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station (WES) located in Vicksburg, MS. WES and several other Corps Laboratories are now officially known as the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). Several other former employees of WES have also established small engineering firms since their retirement. All of us worked together as teams on studies while we were at WES, and we continue to look for opportunities to work together. The names of these colleagues are Tony Thomas and Ron Copeland of Mobile Boundary Hydraulics, Norm Francingues of Sediment Solutions, Larry Daggett and Chris Hewlett of Waterway Simulation Technology, Lee Butler and Don Robey of Veri-Tech, and Jack Fowler and Glynn Banks of Geotec Associates. While employed at WES, each of these individuals was considered the leading expert within the Corps of Engineers in their particular technical area. In addition to the above, CHT has a long term relationship with Applied Science Associates (ASA) located in Naragansett, RI. CHT recently teamed with Northwest Hydraulics Consultants located in Sacramento, CA to update coastal mapping guidelines for FEMA and to perform coastal circulation modeling in the Pacific Northwest.
